Therefore, in order to improve the quality of products and prolong the service life of electronic components, thorough cleaning is required to improve the reliability of electronic products.

      According to the special requirements of components on electronic circuit boards, such as: material compatibility, low clearance of components, etc., cleaning agents are generally divided into water-based cleaning agents, semi-water-based cleaning agents and solvents type cleaning agent.

1. Water-based cleaning agent
      Water-based cleaning technology is a green and environmentally friendly cleaning method, and it is the development direction of future cleaning technology. Deionized water and wastewater treatment workshops must be configured. The main cleaning principle is to add surfactants, additives, corrosion inhibitors, chelating agents and other active substances in water, which can effectively remove water-soluble and non-polar pollutants on the surface of circuit boards.
      The advantages are:
1) non-flammable and explosive, high safety
2)The cleaning agent has a large degree of freedom of formulation and combination, and is easy to clean off polar and non-polar pollutants, and has a wide range of applications
3) multiple cleaning effects work together, because water is a strong polar solvent, in addition to dissolving, there are synergistic effects such as saponification, emulsification, replacement, dispersion, etc. 3) br /> 4) water as a natural solvent, its cost is relatively low
      Disadvantages:
1)In areas where water resources are scarce, this cleaning method requires a lot of water resources, which is limited by local natural conditions
2)Some components cannot be exposed to water, so sensitive metal materials are prone to rust and corrosion
3) The surface tension of water is large, it is difficult to clean small gaps, and it is difficult to completely remove the remaining pollutants in the low gap on the circuit board
4) is difficult to dry and consumes a lot of energy
5) equipment costs are high, and it requires supporting wastewater treatment facilities, equipment investment and energy consumption
Second, semi-water-based cleaning agent
      Semi-aqueous cleaning mainly uses a cleaning agent composed of organic solvents and a certain amount of active agents and additives. This type of cleaning is between solvent cleaning and water cleaning. These cleaning agents are all organic solvents, which are flammable solvents, with relatively high flash point and relatively low toxicity, and are relatively safe to use, but they must be rinsed with deionized water and then dried. Some cleaners contain 5% to 20% of water and a small amount of surfactant to reduce flammability and make rinsing easier.
      The characteristics of the semi-aqueous cleaning process are:
1) has a relatively strong cleaning ability, can remove polar pollutants and non-polar pollutants at the same time, and has a long service life
2) cleaning and rinsing use two different media, and deionized water is generally used for rinsing
3) to dry after rinsing
4) The disadvantage of this technology is that waste liquid and wastewater treatment is a more complex problem
Three, solvent-based cleaning agent
      Solvent-based cleaning mainly uses the solvency of the solvent to remove contaminants. Using solvent cleaning, because of its fast volatilization and strong dissolving ability, the equipment requirements are simple. According to the flash point of the solvent, it can be divided into flammable cleaning agents and non-flammable cleaning agents. The former mainly includes organic hydrocarbons and alcohols (such as organic hydrocarbons, alcohols, glycol esters, etc.), and the latter mainly includes organic hydrocarbons and alcohols. Including chlorinated hydrocarbons and fluorinated hydrocarbons (such as HCFC and HFC), etc.
