DESCRIPTION
SYNTHITE ER-43/368-D Red Insulator (class H) is a protective high temperature insulating enamel that
dries very quickly, forming a tough and flexible film with excellent heat and chemical resistance.
It has the following outstanding properties:
- Very fast air drying.
-Excellent chemical resistance.
-Oil and moisture resistant.
-Hard, smooth, abrasion resistant film.
-Excellent adhesion.
- Thermal class: 180°C.
APPLICATION
SYNTHITE ER-43/368-D Red Insulator dries very quickly to a uniform, glossy finish that gives a
superior abrasion resistance and an excellent adhesion to most surfaces.
It is suitable as a protective coating for stator coils, transformer coils, armature coils, bus bars, field
coils, control coils, commutator ends, collector rings, oil reservoir interiors, switch bases, porcelain,
molded bakelite, solenoid coils, motor frames and so on.
SYNTHITE ER-43/368-D is supplied with a viscosity suitable for application by brush. For spraying
application, it must be thinned with 15% about of Dolph's T-200 thinner.
STORAGE AND SHELF LIFE
Store in a cool dry place (max 30°C) away from direct sunlight. Protect from moisture and humidity.
Shelf life is 24 months when stored in closed container at max 30°C
